    "Bazalt SPO" is a developer of Russian operating systems (OS) "Alt", which allow to create IT infrastructures of any scale. The development of a platform for creating operating systems based on free software has been underway for more than 20 years.

    The company's products are released in the form of distributions. All distributions are based on the stable branch of the Sisyphus repository. Operating systems are developed in our own distributed infrastructure using our own tools. All infrastructure is located in the Russian Federation, owned and maintained by Bazalt Software.

    Each operating system distributive includes a set of application software for solving various tasks of organizations and private users. Most of the company's products are included in the Unified Register of Russian Computer Programs and Databases. Bazalt SPO is a member of RUSSOFT NP, ARPP "Domestic Soft", Association of Documentary Telecommunication.

    Alt operating systems work on many hardware architectures, including the main Russian ones with support of Russian processors ("Elbrus", "Baikal", ELVIS boards, YADRO IT equipment). The compatibility of the Alt OS with a significant number of application programs from the Unified Register of Russian Computer Programs and Databases has also been confirmed.

    Alt operating systems are implemented and supported by the company's partners at commercial enterprises and in the public sector on hundreds of thousands of computers throughout Russia. "Bazalt SPO has a number of successful implementations of its products in IT systems of federal scale, in large government agencies of the Russian Federation, such as the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation, the Federal Communications Agency and others.

    The company pays special attention to the work related to the creation and development of training courses, expansion of product knowledge both in organizations, including educational institutions, and among ordinary users.
